more about the red card please? was it an actual red? really just an attempted bike?

Cisse went for an overhead kick, kicked a feller in the chest/arm and was originally shown the red. After the confusion however, the red was shown to Gourcoff for an aerial challenge where he led with his arm. A very very harsh sending off as you see that challenge all the time.

You do now & it's become accepted in Andy Gray World because he was an arm-flailing elbowing twat & he's gone on & on excusing it because he wants to give his career credibility. Personally speaking, I was fucking good at heading the ball & the only time I needed to do that was deliberately, if some fucker had kept on elbowing me in the chops I didn't consider it warrented head butting him.

Henry could have redeemed himself by playing it for laughs when he came on; wearing a huge pair of Benny Hill style artificial hands & patting the ball round the pitch.

The challenge was fine, I think the ref thought he led with his elbow, but that wasnt the case. The direction he was travelling in, his leading arm had to go somewhere.

Anyway, fuck that, France have scored one - which to me would be a perfect result. France go home, and South Africa can stick them fucking horns up their arse for the rest of the tournament.

Going in with your arm up like that is the same as going over the ball in a tackle to me; cowards way out.

Agree about SA, not just because of the horns but because they're shite & don't deserve to knock out Mexico.

I'll be glad the South African's are going out.....those fucking horns are pathetic and so are their supporters who don't even watch the fucking game.

oh - and they play shite football but part of the blame has to go to the dumb managerfor not picking ANY player who play's outside South Africa - what a twat.

Ok my mistake , who else?

Radebe actually brought it up, saying that the manager only went with player's that played in their mickey mouse league (I take it he meant 99% of them as opposed to bringing in some from oversee's)

Mokoena plays for Everton, Dikgacoi plays for Fulham, Parker plays for FC Twente, Sibaya plays for Rubin Kazan and Ngcongca plays for Genk.

That's it though...except for Masilela who plays for Maccabi Haifi.

Definitely it this time.

Right, This is the last time I quote that spastic Radebe.

LUCAS RADEBE has called for South Africa coach Carlos Alberto Parreira to be sacked.
The former Leeds defender and Bafana Bafana captain insists that Brazilian Parreira's decision to pick local players for the squad rather than experienced performers from overseas leagues has backfired.

Hosts South Africa are expected to crash out tonight when they face France in a match that will decide who finishes bottom of Group A.

And Radebe, 41, blasted: "I'd like to see a South African coach after the World Cup.

"There's a pool of experienced players who could have added to the team. We still lack the quality to compete."

Right, last time I quote that spastic Radebe.

all i can say is thank fcuk this WC is over ,truefully it's been a nightmare since after 2006 , Domenech should never of lasted after euro 2008 ,but thats another story, also if i had a chance i'd punch the tw-t ,refussing to shake Parreria's hand is really scrapping the bottom of the barrel what a tw-t ,tw-at ,tw-t he is !!
on sunday they did a poll on national tele over 75% of over 7000 who voted wanted us to lose today, fcuing 75% !!! that is huge ,still we didn't deserve to be there and as i mentioned in the other thread about "les petitsbleus"Laurent Blanc has got one hell of a job to win back the supporters and qualify us for the next euro IFhe now takes it !!

Much as I like to take the piss out of you French chaps, I think you've probably got much better raw material than we have to make an impact in the coming years. Our best squad & manager are out there playing like shite right now. You can improve after this.
