The legend. Great pic that, I believe he'd just brilliantly shinned in a 20 yard lob/volley against Charlton. The commentator went nuts on the amazing technical skills to execute said lob/volley, and then had to backtrack a bit when the replays revealed a marvellous shinned swing of The Goats magical right boot.

Not if we celebrate it, it's not. It's definitely Shaun Goater Day in my house now I've been reminded! Who's with me?

As has been stated by someone else on the thread. 'Shaun Goater Day' was for one year only. However, it's always worth reminding ourselves of a City legend. Nowhere near being one of our best players in our history, but you would be hard-pressed to find a more popular player amongst Blues.
21 June is a day for good memories and recollections of some of the Goat's memorable goals. 26 June will only serve to remind us of one of our very worst football memories.

Isn't he born 25th Feb though? Signed for us in March? All good days to remember him, I think he needs 3. And a day of mourning for the day we sold him, some time in July I think.

Shaun Goater Day is like Christmas Day - you just have to 'Believe' (TM) and it will happen (Christmas sponsored by Coca Cola, SG Day sponsored by Nike)

I'm trying to think of a suitable drink to start on later. Something with a Carribbean type flavour is in order rather than a tin I recon.

A rum based cocktail? I'm not to familiar with cocktails - Malibu and something?
