Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Just had a little girl apparently! Makes the thought of what happened in Jan even more sad really.
(Also confirmed on bbc1 he will be at City next season and is looking forward to pre-season!)
Sorry if already covered.

I was thinking that, he seems genuine. I do like Ade anyway and think he gets too much stick, he will be much more settled next season and banging them in for sure! :)

Throughout his time on the BBC this past week he has come across as one of the nicest guys you could meet and the other pundits liked his contribution. I reckon I could chat for hours in the pub with him. (I guess he'd do most of the talking based on his BBC appearances)
Congrats on the little baby and a full season in the sky blue of city will yield him approx. 20 goals IMO.

Many congratulations Ade!
On a seperate note, I think hansen and Klinsmann were a fucking disgrace sniggering because of his accent the other day.

After listening to him as a guest in the studio for the world cup, Im starting to have a rethink on him. I thought he was lazy for us at times, but he does come across like he cares about the game and has passion for it. Maybe I had him wrong and should have had more of an understand of what he had been through.

Klinsman cant say shit! He sounds like he has had his bollox cut off! He does that high pitch thing like what Merson does..And Im sorry, but Im gettin fooked off with all the Jocks and Paddies doin the coverage on our screens. They ent even in the world cup. They can piss off and stop doin doin coverage for the Prem as well.

Also got a lot of respect from me for talking about the shootings, must have been a harrowing time and to have agreed to talk about it on live TV in front of millions of viewers takes sone balls, hopefully with the birth of his daughter he is starting to draw a line under it and can move on

I did say he wouldnt make it through the tournament with the beeb after the phone incident and his unintelligable accent, and I was right (partially) - however makes me look a cunt when it was his wife ringing to tell him he had a healthy baby!
Why the fook would he be doing pundit work when his kid is due, not like he is skint is it?
Fair play to him though, he came across very very well last night and earned a lot of respect for the candid way he talked - particularly about why he retired from international football, which seemed like common sense to me.
Hope he has a blinder next season

I like Ade & think he's a better player than many of the striker targets we've been linked with. Stil think we need to sign strikers to compete with or play alongside him though; he's not reliable over a full season & so far RSC's never been fit enough to step in & is still struggling for fitness in Africa. Ade should stay whatever happens imo.
Would hate for us to sign someone like Ibra or Dzeko if it meant Ade going. Backward step imo, he can do anything they can do & has done it in the Prem.

He may appear lazy because he plays in a side with Tevez and Bellamy. I'd rather have him in the opponents box because he can do the most damage there.
Did no-one else pick up on his comment about Mancini's training? He said something along the lines of how hard he was being worked - but he didn't seem to be complaining.
