What a chance for Australia to win it then.

I'm pleased Australia might be heading out. The thought of Central London being taken over by the many aggressive, alpha male Australian Nationalists (with an inability to self-deprecate) that dwell here is my idea of hell. Especially if they were due to play England.
Tick... tick.... tick... KABOOM!

Hi Garry,I just wanted to shake your hand and ask you a question.I go to COMS as mucha as possible but sometimes I cannot leave the house as Sophie.....sorry..Sophie is my Cat...... needs a carer when Im away and sometimes I cannot find one.
My question is ; Is it possible to bring Sophie to matches at COMS in her kitten box and can she come in for free?

ghana have been very wasteful since going a man up ... how many of them are going to shots from 35+ yards out?
australia should be winning 2-1 right now, and without that sending off, i firmly believe they would be. Ghana just don't have any ideas going forward in this one

Great fight with 10 men, shame the ref won another game.

I don't think there was any reason to punish Australia twice for the some offence, I don't think Kewell knew a great deal about a ball leathered at him from 8 yards.

He was on the line flailing his arms around though - it's not like he's an inexperienced 21 year old.

And it hit him on the upper arm, which was next to his body, never an intentional handball. Penalty? Okay. Red card? Fucking joke.

personally I didn't think it was either according to current rules. Ball was clearly PLAYED to his hand and he did not try to block it with his arm.
I watched only parts of the game as we had some friends in the house but I thought Australia showed great spirit against better side with ten men. Credit to them.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Screwed by an Italian for the second time in four years.
A penalty sure, a red questionably. How Addy didn't get sent off for that tackle on Bresciano (which was worse than Cahill's in game one) I'll never know. Absolutely no consistency amongst these shite referees.

I was really proud of the lads in the second half. It was a gritty performance. I'll hang my hat on that 45. They did me proud.

Apologies Dazby but I was rooting for the Aussies whilst watching with my half Australian other half....and they lost...and then drew
Previously I'd been rooting for the Germans (well...of a fashion, more an "interested third party" role) the day before....and they lost
I've been watching England and City for years and seen nothing but shite
Maybe I am the root of the problem ;-)
