Australia could draw with Ghana and Germany could beat Ghana to win the Group. I still see the Germans as the winners of their Group.

so true mate but wouldn't you just love my prediction better ?

I've said this million times, Rooney = very good player
Messi = World class

big difference.

Rooney is the best we have up front for England and is a very, very good player - but he's simply not doing it enough in every Match to warrant being mentioned in the same sentence as Messi at the moment.

I'm optimistic that England will suddenly grab a Goal and then 2 more will follow... Optimistic.

Is he, for England? He's been about the worse player I've seen, and with Heskey supposedelly feeding him, then it just about relies on the like of Gerrard and Lampard to win the game.

What a fucking disgarce. Why keep him on, just a poor mans choice in my opinion. I was all for Capello, but I'm now realising that he hasn't got the bollocks. Sir, my arse!!!

It's like watching Stuart Pearce team.

Wait a minute...
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Yes. Rooney is an incredible Player but he's simply not doing it at the moment. Potentially Rooney is the very best we have.

I know Algeria aren't exactly the Harlem Globetrotters of the Football World Cup - but they're organised enough to prevent England from doing anything tonight.

Boos above the sound of those horns? Yes, we beat Slovenia then we're OK - but we can't beat America and Algeria. We fucking breezed through qualifying against these sorts of sides...

Time to log off and try and salvage something of my Friday Night.
