Have to agree i was very impressed with him, said it to one of the lads while watching the game.Cant remember seeing him play before but first impression was very good.

remember him putting in some excellent tackles on Govou i think. looked like a mean mofo.

Govou also got once away from him and was wide open only to miss the chance.

Centre-back wasn't he? Pereira is their left-back and was terrible last night. Dissapointed cos he always looks shit-hot for Porto

Seem to remember us buying Nicky Summerbee on the back of the one good performance I saw him play, for Swindon against us.

That said I thought Godin was excellent. He is a centre back though. I think Uruguay play three at the back. For example....

Yes, they were playing Lugano, Godin & Victorino in the center and the Pereiras as wingbacks.
