Can't see a thread regarding this, so if I've missed it, by all means remove mods

Ok here's my guess..

Hart, Johnson, King, Terry, A Cole, Lennon, Gerrard, Lampard, J. Cole, Heskey, Rooney

Apparently it's Green to start in goal. Apart from that, I think that's what Fabio will go with.

Why cant Heskey just fall over and get injured once and for all ffs !!! I cannot stand watching England play with that uselss lump of lard in the line up...........

Apart from him...it's a good line up if we do go with that.

Joe played behind the "starting" back four against the piranha all stars or whatever their name was, so I think Harty will start.

Plus, allegedly the keepers, or team as a whole, won't know until they get to the stadium apparently

They were playing the South African Platinum Allstars mate, thats why Hart started. David James didnt even play and hes got No.1 so it could be Jamo who starts?

James injured his knee stretching for the nuts and crisps on the flight down.

I say apparently because a little rumour out of South Africa is saying that Green is the man, why I don't know? It was mentioned on the radio before and I'm sure I heard it on SSN before it was pulled.

We'll see, but if I was a manager, I'd choose Joe obviously.

What I think it will be:

-----------------------James-------------------

G. Johnson------Terry------King------A. Cole

Lennon-----Gerrard-----Lampard-----J. Cole

----------------Heskey----Rooney--------------

What it SHOULD be:

-----------------------Hart-------------------------

G.Johnson------Terry------King---------A.cole---

-----------------------Parker------------------------

Lennon-----Gerrard-----Lampard-----A.Johnson

----------------------Rooney------------------------
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."

Problem with Ledley King is that he can't play three games at the pace games will be coming. Never mind six.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I think Robert Green will start in Goal for most Matches.

Green

Johnson
Terry
King
A Cole

Lennon
Gerrard
Lampard
J Cole

Crouch
Rooney

In Matches against more testing opposition (sorry Florida Blue / Doomie) then I think one of Lampard and Gerrard will be sacrificed in central midfield for Barry / a more defensive minded player with maybe Gerrard put on the left and encouraged to roam.

If Milner was fit enough I'd have him along side Lampard

Was staggered to hear on talkshite last night that if David James plays in this world cup, he will be the oldest ever player to make his world cup debut.

I'd completely forgotten that Sven ignored him after the mistake he made in the qualifiers last time round whilst he was playing for us, and Paul Robinson was our number 1

You listen to a station you don't like?

Very surprised to learn that James will be making his World Cup debut. That really doesn't sound right. I can't actually list a game he's played in the World Cup - but it still sounds wrong. Can anyone confirm if this is definitely true?
