Was he holding up a Number 17 shirt though?

I'm really not too sure...but the fact he may have been heading to the Arndale at the very least would surely be cause for excitement?

Obviously had the snide comment from the munichs already, apparently he is shit. I can't argue, I have never seen him play, then again neither have they. Pure bitterness oozing from every pore

However £10m for a 21yo German International >>>>> £11m for a player with 13 PL appearances

How fucking stupid are they - mind, most probably dont even know about signing Smalling

This is a good move , let's hope we can get more quality players to follow. Me thinks this is the end of Richards.

I hope not. Would rather get rid of Ned to be honest.

At last we've signed someone!
Never seen Boateng play so can't comment but if Mancini thinks he's good enough then so be it.
For anyone who has seen him regularly, is he step up from Zab, Ned and Richards? Hope so as all three IMO are very good premiership players.

I would like to keep Richards to but think he will go as well as ned . J B is a good playeronly 21 but seems to been around a bit. Big clubs have been after him but he wanted city IMO he is a far better player than Richards ned and zeb.

I'd keep a fully fit 24/7/365 Ned without his recent Soccer AM interview over Micah Richards. However, I do suspect that Richards needs a change of scenery. He was playing for England in recent seasons and needs to find his form again. Such an exciting start to his career.

Tottenham or Arsenal will come in for him.

Edit - Welcome Boateng!

Will Hamburg have any Players left? Hughes took their best two in De Jong and Kompany. Now Mancini gets Boateng.
