Is it me or do his comments seem to indicate that 'its worth slimming and being proffessional for the world cup but not for city/premier league'?

bit strange

What more do you want from him?

He was shit hot for us and is as fit as butchers dog. If he wants to get himself in even better shape for the world cup then fair play to him.

So the WC is where the real professionalism is?? And he's just pulling the day's wage at Citeh???

27 goals and 6 penalties, that's a hell of a way to half-ass.

Tevez is not the most disiplined player in the world off the pitch in terms of diet and excercise at City and West Ham this has never been a problem as the energy he exerts in a game keeps him fit. At United this was a big problem as his lack of game time saw him pile on the pounds.

To be honest I had thought he looked a bit on the heavy side in the second half of the season - I wasn't sure at the time if it was muscle or flab (though I was leaning more towards flab than muscle), and since he was banging them in it didn't matter anyway.

He been watching Messi lately and that's gotta make him think Holy shit how can I get better?? At City I doubt any of our players made him think that since he was our best player..

to be fair, it's a fuckload harder to get into the Argie side than City, so if he's working differently he's just responding to what's needed to get the job done.

that's how professionals operate.

cheers

To question Teves's commitment and professionalism is more stupid than I have the words to describe.

He also is the only Argie to have his own room:

http://www.sport.es/default.asp?idpubli ... _PK=718854

He explains that it's not because he has any problems with his team-mates, but 'personal reasons'. It's things like he doesn't like having the telly on in bed, and that he likes to walk around in the nude all the time.

Maybe that's why he's on a diet?
