As others have stretched the "recent" definition and "forgotten all about" seems to translate don't think about much in relation to City, Clive Allen and Peter Beardsley

Of all those mentioned so far the only one I had truly forgotten is Kanchelskis

Khakaber Tskhadadze? I've tried to spell that from memory.

I thought nobody knew he existed. How on earth was he in MCFC, can't simply believe it.

was talking to a pair of Tunisians last week who were saying they quite liked City since a Tunisian had played for us......it stumped me as I hadn't forgotten the player but had forgotten where Hatem Trabelsi was from

I had forgotten him - but I never thought he was that bad. A few tricks and flicks.

Cool sounding surname that rolls off the tongue. Trab-el-si. Jim Trabelsi. Like it.

Alan Kernaghan.

Scored a goal for us once from about 40 yards out. Apart from that he was dross and cost a fair bit o dough when we signed him from Boro.

Exactly. One of my the most controversial and debated Players we've had at City in recent times. Is he good enough? Why hasn't he been sacked? What's he going to do next?

It had to be tongue-in-cheek! I liked the Lad, though. Every side needs a nutter - but step forwards Mr Emmanuel Adebayor.

Some gems in there but what about that wonder kid who partnered Forlan to 30+ goals before Forlan began his hell on the dark side.
Something beginning with "V", had a "U" somewhere and a couple of "S"s, I think.
City are coming to get you!

I think some of us are being a bit fast and loose with the term "recent" here - alan kernaghan !! when was that 1990?? :)
