Forwards 2010/11

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Forwards 2010/11

IMO the only forward we have that I would want at City next season for sure would be Tevez. I can see Mancini making big changes in this area.

This would be hard on Ade, Bellamy (age & injuries) & Santa Cruz. I'm taking it that Robinho has played his last game and will be part of a swap deal of some kind.

Were linked with lots of players e.g. Dseko, Higuain and Aguero.

I think Mancini will want four top strikers. We will play a lot of matches next season and will use our squad of 25 players throughout as we cope with injuries, suspensions, tactics and loss of form. He will also want to promote from the youth ranks if they are good enough e.g. Guidetti.

Who would you like to see at City next season for our goal scoring positions?

This.

Also since he rarely played up front anyway I'd keep bellers. We'd be lethal.

Tevez, Adebayor and Bellamy for me. This constant chopping and changing of the squad is bad for cohesion. Look at Chelsea and how long they've had Drogba or Shrek at The Swamp. Stability and sensible additions as and when is the way forwards.

All 3 of the above have a role to play next season.

Hi Garry,I just wanted to shake your hand and ask you a question.I go to COMS as mucha as possible but sometimes I cannot leave the house as Sophie.....sorry..Sophie is my Cat...... needs a carer when Im away and sometimes I cannot find one.
My question is ; Is it possible to bring Sophie to matches at COMS in her kitten box and can she come in for free?

Don't think Bellers is gonna stay so we definetly need a replacement.

I'm trying to.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Bellamy would force his own exit. He's one of the most dedicated professionals at the Club but his lack of intellectual guile will be the downfall. Nothing else.

I really want Adebayor to stay, though. Every Club needs a nutter.

Tevez
Silva
Dzeko
Adebayor

Seems the most likely option, as Bellers seems to be on his way or plays in midfield anyway. I have a sneaky suspicion that if AC Mila do find £20m for Adebayor we would take it - wonder if they have any more up and coming Brazilians like Pato they could throw in the deal?

Also, that Juan Manuel Mata looked very very tasty at Valencia last year, can play creative midfield, out on the left or up front. 11 goals and 13 assists last year in 40 games. Lets see just how deep in the shit Valencia are.
