He needed 1st team action and he definately wouldn't have got it with us (I thought at the time), but has done superbly at County. I think he got the divisions Player of the Year Award as well.

I did say 'Diiiiirty Bastard' in the transfer thread, but really, good look to the lads, just a shame it's at Leeds!

Best of luck to the lad, I understand why he was allowed to leave us but I don't think there was much doubting his ability. Hopefully Leeds will have a good goalkeeping coach who can improve his catching/dealing with crosses and he'll be well on the way to being a quality GK

I remember Kasper keeping a fair few clean sheets when he started in goal for us under Sven. He also saved a Penalty at Arsenal, IIRC.

The Lad will definitely play Premiership Football again one day. Maybe with Leeds or maybe not.

Was good shot stopper like his father but couldn't catch any crosses and lacked physical presence in the box so I thought it was pretty clear he'd never make it as really top keeper.

Agreed that is pretty much his level at the moment but he’s still young in goalkeeper terms. The things that he was lacking with us can be coached into him. His shot stopping is his main asset and this something you can’t teach.

I don’t think he will ever be a top top keeper but it wouldn’t surprise me if he was a Premiership regular in two three years.

Wet fish springs to mind. Couldn't even dominate his 6 yard box let alone the 18.

It's always remarkable how the goalies which have the best teams in front of them seem to keep more clean sheets. Coincidence I'm sure.

There's being a good Keeper and a really top Keeper. Kasper was young and was thrown in at the deep end when he played against the likes of Man Ure and Arsenal. He'd barely played First Team Football.

If he develops well at Leeds then he could play Premiership Football again. Probably not at City, though.
