I've already said my bit in the Top of the tower thread, and it has been a magnificent and emotional afternoon.

If I only get to two games next season, it will be both tango's games.

Well done Holloway. I can't wait to see some of the interviews next season!!!

I think it's fantastic, not only for Blackpool but also the fact that we don't have the Cardiff thugs in the top division. Well done the Tangerines, what a ride it's going to be for them next season and those post match interviews are going to be priceless

I bet you'll have drank a few tonight. I will be too (re Top of Tower thread).

Brilliant game, fantastic result for the team and will be a real kick up the arse for the region. Found the PNE a thread on the game. They will be suicidal now:

Really pleased for the pool and I hope they do well in their first season back since the early 70s.

To be honest mate the Cardiff fans were brilliant on Saturday. I went to Wembley as Blackpool are my second team having been brought up and schooled there. Both sets of fans were drinking together and having the banter around Covent Garden before the game. Then afterwards the Cardiff boys were all gracious in defeat and coming to us in the pubs congratulating us.

I only hope that this dream does not turn into a mini nightmare for them.

The facts are that with the current capacity to take only 1150 away fans in a temporary stand with no roof and little catering facilities is soon going to attract negative publicity from those that visit there and I hope that the media don't pick up this. Unfortunately, the great away day that some are looking forward to is going to be limited to season card holders with a zillion points.

Their fans are all looking forward to trips to Manyoo, Arse, Chelski, Spuds etc, but how will they take the eventual realization that tickets for all these games (even Fulham) will cost them at least £50 each and probably take place on Monday nights or Sat/Sun evenings?

With respect to the cash they will now generate, well the first £20mill will go straight to the Oyston family to repay the personal loans they have made to the club over the years, they will also build a new stand, create a proper training facility ...... and then Holloway will be given just £8million to spend on players and wages.

They are already planning to go down with a bundle of cash and parachute payments that will stabilise them as a Premiership club for the next 20 years and provide security without a benefactor.

Good luck to them ...... they will need it.
Relax ... It's only a message board in hyperspace!!
