Was Robinho not our Top Scorer in 08/09? Yes, he was solar powered at times and he's almost definitely not going to play for City again - but it was a welcoming gift from our new Owner that acted as a good publicity stunt, too.

Worst decision by far was Big Mal's decision to sell Barnes and Owen to West Brom and use the funds to help but Steve Daley.

hughes selling dunne i think is up there i think, treated him harshly and then got treated harshly, what goes around comes around...

Thats only a minor one though there have been some terrible ones over the years, swapping david white for rocastle i thought wasnt a great move, selling quinny to sunderland aswell.

Horlock deserved a proper send off, absolute legend here, scored some absolute screamers. I totally agree the club should have given him a good farewell.

James, I like him a lot as a player when he wants to play, and yes he was Top Scorer, but I think that is more because we have no one up front who could score. But you are only looking at 1/2 the equation. In the second season he was a crap primadonna and last I recall he was plying his trade with another club several thousand miles away.

I was not happy when he left because he is a real talent, but he mentally left long before he physically left. So to me it was a very poor first buy from the player usefulness stand piont. For PR and making a statement I will say it was a solid buy.

I still get furious about this game, of all the games we didn't deserve to lose it was this one. Their goals were an own goal and a deflection. It took Quinninho to come running out of the tunnel to tell Bally we needed to score. We should and could have won. LFC players looked embarrassed to score and deflated by our plight. ANd we still didn't win. One of my lowest points as a blue.

Reid not playing Clive Allen. Though he may have had a personal issue, it really was annoying. Loads more I can't remember, but proabably the worst ever decisions of a lot of our managers, were to sign for us in the bloody first place and commit in writing to making us all suffer unduly. Steve Coppell take note.
