Yeah our last penalty miss was that robinho one against sunderland, but i would say that fowler miss against boro was worst miss i have seen considering it cost us a place in europe.. i remember that one against utd where vassel tapped it to keeper and it meant we beat record for least amount of goals at home ever, with 10

I remember Tony Philliskirk having a really good penalty record and Graham Alexander's isn't too shabby either.

For City, I don't recall Elano ever missing one.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

so he didnt miss then.

Yes and no.

On the goals scored it says

Barton 1(Pen)

Darts still isnt a board game.

It shouldnt do really though if hes missed the penalty? You look at that recently and if a player misses a penalty then scores off the rebound it just goes down as an ordinary goal and a missed penalty.

Eggsacklee.

Counted as a goal, not a penalty goal.

Does anyone remember this:
Stuart Pearce in his last ever game, we won a pen in injury time and he took it as he was on 99 carrer goals, the game was already won and was meaningless so the keeper told him which way he was going to dive,.........up steps Psycho ........and he balloons it wide....DOH!

I missed a penalty last season; scuffed it horribly straight into the floor as me standin foot gave way. The keeper almost had to slow down his topple as he was thinking of diving but didn't need to! Ref saw encroachment and let me take it again. Scuffed it again but it bobbled in having beat the keeper. Before that I've missed two in ten years.

Anyway, back in actual threadland.

My most horrible penalty misses for City are Michael Hughes and Alan Harper. I think both may have been against Everton in different games but cannot be arsed to check, the former defo was.

Both terrible choices of penalty takers by the manger if it was his decision. Which it must have been. Kendall I think.
