Did anyone want Tranny's shot to go in? It's okay to admit it, it would have been spectacular if it had.

Now that was a POUNDING!

I think they could get to the semis, along with maybe Mexico, Argentina and Brazil.

Can't imagine Spain will continue to be shite. Don't think Portugal will get past them if they meet.

Well that was bizarre. Korea looked pretty good in the first half but then just turned to shite after the second goal went in.

Mexico? Can't see that. We'll get a comp up at the end of the group matches.

Often the case with lesser teams when they lose confidence, same as they did v Brazil but Portugal were much better going forward.

bus parked. Sanchez just bottled a clear chance with a shot right at the keeper. Still wouldn't be surprised at a Swiss goal.

cheers

Alexis Sanchez is just brimming with talent, he does all the hard work and then can't pick out the right pass/shot.

Mark my words, superstar playing for a top club by the next world cup.

I bet we hear some bored journo linking Benaglio with a move to the prem in the near future when they have some column inches to fill. Looks like he's had a good game again.

Right on cue, the second after I bigged him up. I'll keep my praise to myself especially when England play (if there's anything to praise)
