Well done Chile - I wont be praising any more players though since they go and do something dumb a few seconds later

I think Spain could be going home. They should win tonight, however I fancy Chile for a scoring draw against them and if the Swiss beat Honduras and they should, Spain would not even make it out of the group stage.

FIFA should do something about these fucking cheat's.Another player holding his face as if he has been punched...cheating swiss cunt.

An immediate 2 game ban would suffice and the yellow card rescinded.

Mexico? Can't see that. We'll get a comp up at the end of the group matches.

Yeah that would be a good one. I suppose we'd have to see who's drawn. It may not even be possible for the four teams I went for to make it to the semis. I just ment they are the four teams I'm holding in highest regard so far.

I think if I were to pick four, Argies, Brazil, Netherlands and Portugal would be a safer bet, but like you said, with a 3rd round of matches still to come, who knows who meets who at this point.

I think the Guays have been good -- Both para and ura. Chile and the Dutch have been workmanlike. Mexico and Portugal havent impressed me as much as those 4 have so far. No matter what today's scoreline was for the portugeezers.

The argies and brazil do look top notch but who's to say really. Things are at least getting more exciting as we progress.

Cheers

chile look a very dangerous attacking team ... it would not surprise me to see them go far in the tournament.

I still have argentina v holland in the final. So far, I'm happy with that prediction. I think both teams have showed they can attack with flair and they've also showed they can grind out a result.

That being said ... I had France beating England in the quarters, so it shows what I know hahah

Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Germany have impressed me so far. Paraguay don't look too shabby either actaully. Ghana enjoyable to watch but always likely to make a fuck-up, shame they're missing Essien and Muntari isn't fully fit. England shit, France laughable, Italy old & shit, Holland shit but still managing to beat poor opponents. Still think Spain will win it.

Villa's first goal was pretty much the best of the tournament so far.

Easily.

Good goals so far IMO.
1. David Villa's solo effort.
2. Diego Forlan's long range dipper.
3. Portugal's slick passing move (3rd goal) vs North Korea
4. Brazil's first vs Cote d'Ivoire.

Here on Canadian TV, RSC was chosen as the Budweiser MOM for the Paraguay vs NZ game today - 'the Man City striker was a major force'. LOL

It's been a nice change to still have many City players in the WC. We might even have a Man City WC winner after all this.

I didn't say that. original dub did, which makes it a bit rich, imho.

To answer your question Slim, yes, it does.

Denmark are a bunch of 1980's cloggers who can fuck off back to Graham Taylor Land. The Laudrups must be more than a bit miffed at their team's fall from grace. And Agger is a turd. A few tattoos don't make you a hardman, danny boy. The ref (where was that cunt from????) was a bumming up the Danes at every opportunity, obliging with ajoke penalty for his bumboy Agger. Thankfully it didn't matter cos they were shit and Japan were rather good on the night. Taking the piss at the end, in fact. Lovely.

A thoroughly deserved win.

Perhaps Honda is good enough for the Premier League. It would be interesting to find out.
