Topic made sticky. It would be very much appreciated if people could keep all the rumours during the "crazy season" here (and in Chinner's Bollox of course) rather than starting new topics about them. In dream scenario we'd only have "Messi signs" topics.

Thank you.

Good one NQDP - by the way the silly season is well under way with the comments - eg: City are bidding for Mr Messi - if they fail to sign him they are going to bid for Mr Bump and Mr Tickle....
ha fucking ha

this from a scouser in my office by the way!

Franck Ribery to sign for Man City in the next few weeks. He's keen to work with Mancini and has been promised the club will win the Premiership in the next two years. I look forward to seeing this in the papers in the next few weeks, CITY 'TILL I DIE.

Chelski will match City in the fight for Torres. Ancelotti has been given the go ahead to bid for the £50million rated striker.

You don't half like to throw some rumours around. Where's that from? Let me guess, Tolmie's Haircut said it on Bluemoon?

I think that's Millsy though so most likely source would be his dad. But fook that, I have 12.30 appointment on local tattoo shop to get that Kaká tattoo on my knob covered with Ribery in gothic letters. Or Comic Sans. Haven't decided yet.

I certainly don't believe Chelski will go for Torres with Drogba and Anelka as there strike force. The manager himself said he doesn't want Torres I think papers really don't have anything else to report so keep reporting the same story over and over.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is set to re-jig his frontline over the summer – a move that will see both Roque Santa Cruz and Craig Bellamy leave the club – and has targeted Sunderland’s top-goalscorer Darren Bent as an ideal addition to his ranks.

Mancini is said to be a keen admirer of the £20-million-rated striker, who has managed an impressive 24 goals for the Black Cats this season.

West Ham have offered a contract to Martin Petrov whose current deal at Man City runs out at the beginning of June.

Can't see Petrov going there if Hughes is favourite to be the new manager

If Chelsea did go for and get Torres I'd love to have Anelka back at City! I'm not ITK or anything, just saying....

Cool, I suspect we'll be needing to spend more than that but a good choice
