Aims on the Target

Postby brite blu sky » Mon May 03, 2010 1:44 pm

ok so we have some serious aims this week that have no need to be expanded on..

but flying under the radar a little bit is the idea that our little Carlito could yet grab the golden boot
and i would not be at all surprised if the little bugger has got designs on that and i rekon he is due a little splurge

Drogba Chelsea 26
Rooney Man Utd 26
Bent Sunderland 24
Tevez Man City 23

If he bags a hatrick (3 already this season I believe) on Wednesday, could set up a double edged...wait, triple edged final day, champions league, golden boot, but to do it he has to score against the club he hates scoring against.

hates scoring against them or not, Carlos is 100% professional.. and it is up to them to stop him
He will have no bones about slamming 4 in if he gets he chances and it propels him to a golden boot..
He might even dedicate it to Baconface

I have no doubt he'll do it, but he won't be jumping, sliding or waving a shinpad around afterwards.

Just a little more motivation for him and the lads, if they needed any more.

Also when was the last time that many players broke the 20 goal barrier?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

What a season Bent has had. Mr Spiv is a big fan and it's obvious why. Anyone with a first name of Darren gets a big yes from me. The surname however.... yeah, it's ok too.
