Lap of appreciation on Wednesday.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

This thread reminded me of the 'lap of honour' on the last day two years ago when we lost 3-2 to Fulham. Nearly everyone left, then they spent half an hour driving around in a little car for a raffle, then with about 30 people left in the ground Sven started walking around throwing beach balls into the empty crowd.

Odd day.

I think I really needed this explained to me - and for that I thank you Andi

Wednesday is incredibly important but win lose or draw - it has been one of the greatest seasons to be a city fan for many a year

I will do a lap of honour for teh team in the Avalanche - they are opening late for me - int that sweet

That really was embarrassing to watch.

We'll be staying behind as usual, most of the players have earned their applause this season for a change too so they definitely deserve the honour. It will be bloomin late though so all the little kiddies will probably have been scooted home by the time the players come back out

People are strange. I sit in the family stand with my kids, but never leave before the end. I can't understand people leaving early, I always have to sit in my car for half an hour before they open the barriers anyway. The kids will be up late Wednesdy but they will enjoy the atmosphere and occasion, no way would we miss it.The same at half time, is that early pie worth missing your team?

I say if they leave early they deserve to be given a gobful. I did when I was there. ;-) Best bit of the derby, and also the second most saddest.
