I'm going for Zab. Closely followed by Vieira.

Agree went with Kompany myself.

Good performances all around but it has got to be AJ.

First and foremost though, we were tactically spot on today.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I was surprised that Tevez was announced as MotM at the ground. Don't get me wrong, he had a good game but I think Zabaletta, Vieira, Johnson, Bellamy and Kompany were all better.

Difficult one: between Johnson, Zab and Ade.
But I went for Ade: I don't think I've ever seen somebody who's basic role is 'centre forward', but who worked so hard, and effectively, in defensive areas of the pitch also

Vieira by a country-fooking-mile in my not so humble opinion. It's almost not worth discussing.

AJ for me without him we would have still been down 1-0 by half time and probably would have gone on to lose it/draw so he deserves it for me for turning the game. Sure he got us a penalty for being brought down in the box but his eagerness got him in the position where he had to be brought down for the penalty.

Strange that when we win 3-1 that I think 2 of our defensive players were the best out there. It was good to see every single player have a good game, Ade, Bellers and Carlos running their nads off but for me Vince and Zab had a cracker. Between the 2 was the passing and Vince, unusally, made a couple of errors so therefore it has to go to Mad Frank; love the guy!

Can we get people in attendance's view on Tevez, announced as motm at the ground, wondered if this was accurate.

As I mentioned further up, there were at least 5 City players who were better today IMO.

Looked out of sorts and a bit disinterested in the first half although he did look like he was carrying a knock after his penalty.

Came much more into it in the second half, saw a lot more of the ball and looked much better.

I don't think he was anywhere near Man of the Match though.

I think disinterested is a bit unfair, there were plenty of times when he dropped deep to receive the ball to make something happen. But it was clear he wasn't at his best today and as KK said, plenty of others had better games today.

For motm I've gone for Mad Zabba.

Thought Tevez had a great game. Constantly pushing us forward & breaking Villa's defensive line. Disinterested my arse. If he's disinterested then give me 11 fucking disinterested players every week!

My MOTM would probably be Zabba though. Amongst all the other good stuff, he got in some superb defensive headers that he wouldn't have won earlier in the season. Really wants to play in the Prem & is improving all the time.
