I'd take bellers over either aj or swp, but other than that spot on. Sadly Ireland in form would be a great option with 1 holding mid.
Tracking back is overrated.

This, except i'd rather swap out ned for zabs - them having young on the wing and having that big lug carew on the end of crosses and free kicks has me nervous about zabba giving away a cheap free kick near the box.

Pretty much the same as you guys but I would recognise that their strength is in their speed down the wings (3 or 4 of them) - I would therefore play Ned instead of Zab and I would play SWP and Bellers - with some clear words to them about the amount of work that needs to be put n to stop them breaking down the wings - stop them there and I an then hopeful that Tevez, Ade and our MF will carve out some chances

A very obvious team to pick - but almost definitely what we'll see on Saturday.

Hi Garry,I just wanted to shake your hand and ask you a question.I go to COMS as mucha as possible but sometimes I cannot leave the house as Sophie.....sorry..Sophie is my Cat...... needs a carer when Im away and sometimes I cannot find one.
My question is ; Is it possible to bring Sophie to matches at COMS in her kitten box and can she come in for free?

Agreed Jim, thats what he will pick.
Strangely I feel SWP might have a role to play on saturday as a sub, not sure why, just one of those feelings you get.
No doubt Dunney will have a blinder and absiolutely refuse to have one of his brain fart moments and plonk one in his own net! Lets hope he gets a great reception which I am sure he will.

Anyone who boos Richard Dunne on Saturday is a fucking idiot. Some light mocking if he nearly scores an Own Goal or gives away a Pen, though. That's fair!

zabba, ned or micah.. all good enough and would be happy with anyone of them.
If Barry remains unfit we possibly might find Zabba in to play for him.
AJ or SWP happy with iether starting as we can switch to the other during the game to freshen things up.

I know their defense is one of the best of the league but I think Cuellar is a weak point at RB. If we're going to unlock them it'll be down the wings, not through the middle, and Bellamy has the pace to get in behind him.
SWP on at the hour mark for the less effective of Bellers or AJ.

I reckon Barry's hamstring will see him rest this one. Vieira it is then.

I dont particularly mind what team we put out, its the mentality of the team we send out that is the important factor, and I am yet again very very worried that we will try to keep it tight and try to sneak a goal in the 2nd half.

Ironically over on Villatalk none of them seem too fussed about GB. They think its serendipitous that he left because it allowed Milner to move into the middle. General consensus is that the game's much bigger than him.

From another thread:
brite blu sky wrote:We only lack the team play and we did lack the discipline, but not so much anymore. That same ambition is as likely to sweep Villa aside if we connect with each other on Saturday.. and it wont be from lack of effort.
Our only real weakness is a lack of forward mid.. and i wouldn't be surprised if Mancini tries to do something about that tomorrow.
Hmmm. I don't think Mancini has a great number of options in the middle, does he? Even fewer if Barry is out. I don't see what options he's got other than Ireland, SWP or a kid.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

i suppose the issue may end up dictated to by injuries.. Ireland may now be not available, Barry is suspect apparently.
The whole thing hinges on whether or not Bobby has seen what a lot of us have that Vieira is struggling. If he has and thinks that anything would be better then even Zabba could do a half decent job there. But as i wrote in the other thread i would not be surprised if Bobby made some bold change in that area. We have seen he is prepared to play people in different positions.
