I sent an email to everybody on the mailing list and have made an announcement on our facebook site. I did consider sending a PM to everybody but, after what happened with the Vote Dazby Pms, decided against it.

I'm confused. I have sent emails out and announced on our facebook site that this competition is on, there has been a sticky at the top of this forum since Friday about it, yet within minutes of posting that registrations have closed there is an influx of people wanting to enter.

I'm not having a go at people here, I am genuinely confused at how this has happened!? Is there a better way to get messages to people in the future?

Never saw it on Facebook and never saw the usual notifications you get on there. Maybe i just missed them. Maybe the multi message approach like the vote Dazby thing is best aslong as you advise folk not to reply to it :-)
