Mad Zab and Sylvinho were there last night, anyone who goes to the normal fans forums will know you queue in a long line to get to meet the players. Here the players sat at the top table and fans were asked to queue, Zab immediatley said "oh, no, we will go to the fans" and the both of them walked round handing out photo's that they signed for us all, posed for as many photo's as we all wanted then did a Q&A session, mainly the normal questions were asked, favourite player, hardest tackle etc so nothing controversial. Then at the end of the nigh Sylvinho handed out books that had been written by a friend of his to everyone there.

Great night, great fun

What a top bloke, good on him!

Cheers for sharing the pics mate, looks like a decent turn out too!

I take it you're a member of the Disabled Fan Club then? Do you know Frank and Norma? They aren't a couple but sit next to each other in the lower East Stand, they sit behind us and are lovely people. Frank often has us all falling about with the stuff he shouts, such as 'Bloody hell Touré, I can run faster than you!' - pretty funny from a bloke in a wheelchair!

Sylvinho seems like a nice fella too. He makes me laugh in interviews - why does he speak his near-perfect English in a broad Dutch accent? Was he taught by Dennis Bergkamp?

Yes I am secretary of the Disabled Supporters Association and yes I know Frank and Norma. The disabled fans are no different to any other blue, many of us have been supporting the club so long now we can actualy remember us winning a trophy and still have Dennis Tuearts autographs stacked away somewhere.... So many years of frustration leads us all to develop the traditional sense of humour and love for the club

His english is very good, struggled sometimes with our broad accents, but was very clear with his replies

No it was Steve Maclaren :0). Sylvinho said he loves working with the kids and they all look up to the experienced players, where as in his native brazil they all think they know it all at 16. He fealt the future was very bright and would like to look at getting into coaching after retirement

City have got some of the best facilities / access for Wheelchair Users yet it's something you never hear about. There's really no excuse for it at a Football Ground because it's hardly out of choice for a Fan to require it.
