Ilike Scott Parker, he's got a name that sounds like he should be in Thunderbirds.

Would not be disappointed in signing Scott Parker at all. I think far too many people end up rating players more based upon the team they play for as compared to their own individual contribution to their side. He would add further depth and work ethic to the team, which is exactly what we would need as we will be in four competitions next year as opposed to three should we make fourth.
He wouldn't be that expensive either.
Gerrard, for that matter, is a great player and his game would, I believe, improve without the pressure to be Liverpool's saviour week after week. Whether he is the player for us, however, remains to be seen. It would all depend on his price, wage demands, seriousness in wanting to leave and whether he would disrupt the dressing room or not.

i'd rather Hines with a side order of Stanislas. One of them surely will come good in a big way i think.

cheers

Last January was the time to sign Parker. The boat has passed.

We should not sign Stevie G.

We should sign a young up and comer looking to make their mark.

Talking about Wham, that Stanislas is a greedy little cunt isn't he Walmai? I was cheering you lot on after your equaliser, and he just fluffed it numerous times.
I'd have waited outside Goodison and slapped the little cunt if I was a hammer.

Hines has had to have surgery twice already - once before getting anywhere near the first team. He's also out of contract in May. I'm fingers crossed we offer him a new deal.

Stanislas has had a bitty season, with no sense of cohesion in terms of our playing wide players (that's our problem generally in midfield; too many similar players). I agree, though, he should do well in the future. Not sure how much time is left on his present deal, but I hope we can keep hold of him.

Needs time to click in the side, having only just got a place in the first eleven due to injuries and suspensions to Behrami, Collison etc.

In fairness to him, he did play some pretty dangerous balls in from the flank during that match (although it was Faubert who took the plaudits for that cross setting up the equaliser).

might be on my own here, but think gerrard as had a shit season, what is 39 approaching 30, maybe he might be on the downward spirral, seems to have lost that forward drive & a bit of pace

like i said i might be on my own on this one, ha ha

No you´re not mate. There´s at least 2 of us and a few more I reckon. A big Gerard bid would be a gamble now, as no-one really knows whether he´s shite because he´s pissed off with Rafa´s insanity, just off form, or in terminal decline. Scouse may just bite our hand off, after making the requisite noises.
