Mate, I think this is a bit OTT.

He WILL come up in pretty much the majority of City debate. There's loads of reasons, but the fact that he was unfairly dismissed in the eyes of many fans, he left less than 3 months ago & this is essentially his team are the three big ones.

To say "it's in the past" or "get over it" is to deny our history. It'd be the same as saying that you were tired of people talking about Colin Bell or Shaun Goater. I'm not stupid enough to compare these people and whet they mean to the club, but they are the make up of what we are today. And in that respect, Hughes is more relevant now than most.

Why not have a "Mancini is is the best Manager in the World" thread or " Lets bring in a Manager who'll get us to the CC Final and 4th place in Premiership" thread or "He's shit but at at least he's not a Rag" thread.
"That's great, tell him he's Pele and get him back on."

Great idea Lee. It means we have our own thread where we can have a rational debate between rational people who are able to think about the game and actually care about how city play and we can do it without the idiots who are dead chuffed that we now have a team that is no better and also playing the worst football we have played since Pearce, but doing it with a quality of player we could have only dreamt of a few years ago....
THANKS MATE...I love you Lee.

Are we still allowed on the Mancini tactical genius against Hull, Everton, the rags and Stoke threads.
or the we are out of the FA CUP thread, cos we lost to a midtable Stoke team.
Or the didn't we do well to only lose 1-3 at the swamp thread.
Or do want to keep those threads all to yourself so you can celebrate how good it was to lose.

Or maybe you just can't face a bit of honest debate.

PS...What about a thread for Eli Fletcher too...Who?
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

Not at all. We had a sticky thread for him when he was in charge and we have a sticky for our current manager so I can't see the problem.

Mods -

Can you please merge this thread with the Mancini thread because innevitably, folk will draw comparrisons between the current manager and the last (as was done CONSTANTLY with Hughes and Sven), as it gauges how we are progressing/regressing and I'm sure people don't want their posts split in half, with half in the Mancini thread and half in this one?

Just a thought,

Thanks,

Da mudafucking OGD.
