Gollum wants to send him back.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... l?ITO=1490Everton want to send misfit Jo back to Manchester City in January, hopeful that new manager Roberto Mancini might want him as cover for African Nations Cup-bound Emmanuel Adebayor.
Manager David Moyes signed Brazilian Jo on a season-long loan after Mark Hughes decided he did not want him at Eastlands.
But Jo has been a flop at Goodison Park, failing to score in 15 Premier League games, and the Merseysiders want to see if they can rip up his contract and allow him to return to Manchester.
Jo
Jo was signed from Russian league CSKA Moscow for £18million in a deal that was set up before Hughes took over.
The Welshman never fancied him as a player and let him go to Everton for two loan spells.

Honestly don't believe he will ever have what it takes to make it at any Prem club, too weak and has a touch of an elephent for me, lethel combination with the speed of the Prem. I think he's more suited to playing in La Liga which is why Valencia tried very hard to land him before we steped in. I would rather bring Caicedo back as cover next month than Jo, i'm sure that Santa Cruz will keep fit anyway and if he picks up anything Tevez like today will fill in and do a top job.

God I was wrong about this feller. Bag of shite.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

He wasn't signed by Sven but Hughes.

I think he was signed by Thaksin tbh not Sven or Hughes.
The deal was in place before Hughes was apointed, but once he took the job he gave the nod and Thaksin and his cronies finalised the deal.
£18mill and we payed £4mill upfront with the rest in installments if I remember correctly.

theres always been something deeply suspicious about the Jo deal - from what I heard Hughes didn't want to sign him but was over-ruled by uncle thaksin
