It was only a matter of time before Taggart had his say, we are his favourite subject after all!
Seems some people still can't get to grip with some basic calculations regarding our 2 losses.
We've drawn 8 games = 8 points
If we had won 3 of those and lost 5, we would have 9 points!
2 losses doesn't mean anything when we've drawn so many.

Of course Ferguson would say that. He would have preferred if Hughes had stayed at City, but now that he was replaced with a manager that has a much more impressive CV Fergusson is getting worried I guess... City spoiled his christmas. :(
so now as every enemy circles our city
sour and sore, we swear war

Initially he was fucked off because we were stealing the headlines and column inches.
Now he desperately needs to ensure that he controls what goes into headlines and column inches.
He needs to deflect any talk of the facts that the rags are skint and he hasn't got any cash to strengthen a squad that is ageing and beginning to become less competetive. That he is in serious danger of being in charge whilst his nearest neighbours, who he has ridiculed for years, overtake him. That while he is in charge, his rags are failing and he can't do a thing about it.
He must be getting a lot of sleepless nights about us.

The thing I find funny, is the comment "There is a way to treat people"
How self righteous is He....doesn't he forget berrating Alan Wiley recently, nor spilling forth his hostile bile into the face of fourth official Mike Dean?
Is that the way to treat people?......FUCKING ARSEHOLE

He isn't being self righteous, nor is he being two faced. He is doing what he needs to do to control the headlines and the subject matter of the stories.
The alternative for him would be to suffer an analysis of the rags that would be destructive.

This. Who cares what he has to say, we have a semifinal against them, let the pitch do the talking I say.

Or throwing boots at them of course.
Unfortunately our friends at SKY are going round asking every manager in their press conference what they think of Hughes' sacking.

Can't stand baconface but :-
1) I fully agree with him this time.....City/Cook ahve handled this whole Hughes sacking abysmally, hard to argue against that.
2) Like others have said he is controlling the headlines away from his own failing squad.
So what's the issue????

If he thinks MH is so marvellous why doesn't he announce him as his successor?
Mind you, the sacking was badly organised.
