So thank god it's almost christmas then! Toure & Kompany as centre-back pairing against Stoke me thinks.
Personally I'm looking forward to seeing how Kompany does at CB.

This is all a direct result of drawing the evil ones in the cup.

Also if someone hasn't read the story, both Ade and Shauny have knocks of their own and are struggling to face Stoke.

Ahhhh the thread title made me think he was out for ages, then I realised there isn't that long left of the year lol.
He is made out of play dough though, gutted for him. What's the longest time he has stayed fit for?

From what I saw of VK at centre back last year I'd much rather him at CB than lose SWP as a right winger

by lets all have a disco
Neds is made of glass.
BIG TIME.
Roberto needs to get the petty cash out and sign two new centre halfs.

Inuries = Ned, SWP, Lescott, Johnson, Bridge, Richards, Ade? etc etc
Christ imagine the position we'd be in without the current strength in depth!
Thank the lord for the sheikh's money.

At least it's till the end of the year and not of the season like I thought at first. Anyway, he's too often injured to be a reliable option for our back four, shame that as he showed last season that he can be pretty good when on form. Still, I reckon Mancio might go for a Zabba Richards Tourè Sylvinho back four against Stoke. Zabba is not injured, is he?
And if SWP is out then Weiss will start, I have a feeling about this, as for Ade...time for RSC to score another brace then, lol.

I would agree, but did you see they back 3 the scum played last weekend? One true defender, a midfielder and a debutant?? I like out chances against that back line.

I believe Ade has a knock. Needs at least another game's rest then!!

We don't have anymore CBs, and hopefully we will get Upson in January.

Kompany has always impressed me at center half. Will he mix well with Toure though??
Shame for Nedum again. How many times will we say that.
We have alot of good center halves at this club, i know they havent looked that great recently but hopefully Mancini will drill them into a solid unit. With the talent that Kolo, Lescott, Komps and Nedum have, its hard to see how the previous regime were getting things so wrong?

And he even looked like Mr Blobby these last couple of games: hopefully he'll have those extra pounds shed before he returns the next time
