The Divide Between Fans

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

The Divide Between Fans

Postby King Kev » Sat Dec 19, 2009 11:18 pm

Never before have I witnessed one person creating such a divide between City fans as hughes did. There never seemed to be a gray area where he was concerned, you were either with him (happy-clapper) or against him (hughes-hater) and the 2 camps were at each others throats from the start.

Of course we will always disagree on certain topics regarding our beloved club but I hope to never again witness the polarization caused by hughes' appointment.

Now can we all please learn to live with the fact that hughes has gone, get behind Mancini and work towards one common theme.

Thank you and Merry Christmas :o)

Thats all we can do mate! Hughes has gone and he isnt coming back. We have to move forward and better things will happen with Mancini in charge. We have to get behind the team starting with Stoke next saturday. A clean slate and a new era.

NOT FAIR - CLUELESS WAS GIVEN 18 MONTHS OVERALL AND 6 MONTHS WITH HIS OWN PLAYERS SO I THINK MANCINI DESERVES AT LEAST 6 MONTHS WITH HIS OWN PLAYERS FOR US TO JUDGE HIM FAIRLY .......THATS FAIR ISNT IT?

FUCK KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN FROM NOW TILL THE END OF THE SEASON - THE PLAYERS WILL BE ON A RIGHT DOWNER NOW FOR VARIOUS REASONS AND MANCINI WILL HAVE TO PERFORM REALLY WELL TO GET THE BEST OUT OF THEM.

TIME WILL TELL WETHER OR NOT MANCINI IS THE MAN TO TAKE US FORWARD BUT I DONT THINK ANYONE CAN ARGUE AGAINST HUGHES BEING SACKED.....MAYBE THE WAY IT WAS DONE IS FOR DEBATE BUT NOT HIS ACTUAL SACKING.

ANYWAY THE OP IS ABOUT THE DIVIDE BETWEEN FANS AND THE HIGHES APPOINTMENT MADE THAT DIVIDE HAPPEN..THATS A FACT.

I support City, not an individual.

He has gone, get over it and move on!

Precisely. And, whether it's a player or the manager, I want the best person available for the job, not just whoever happens to be in it at the moment!

I fully agree with you Kev, hopefully the fans can get back together now and support the team and the new man in charge!

Can we set a date for the last hughes topic? I am really appreciate of what hughes has started here but I really want to forget it and forget what it caused. Sunday night, no more mention of hughes please, Just mancini!

FUCKING BULLSHIT

You want a new bedding in period for our new manager that does NOT have to look all over the world for superstars, as our previous manager had already purchased many. OUR NEW MANAGER has an amazing squad to start with, YET YOU WANT TIME!

But will need time to get to know the players and the league. Time Hughes didn't get. And if our squad is so amazing, how come our manager could barely win a single game with them?

Yeah! We should all meet up for a bonding session.

Paint balling or a naked sauna or something...

it amazes me that I am a placid person who loves my club and everything about it. However you stoke the inner most feelings inside me that would make me satisfied to see us fail to prove to all the world that you are the idiot that you are.

Self important, OMG I am gobsmacked. Yet I know you are sat there enjoying yourself on a new level. Well done Jon, not felt like this for a long while.
