Are we about to get a decent manager that the players can actually respect, that might make the subs that can win us a game, that can put out a team to keep a lead and get 3 poiints instead of 1
OOOOHHH IM ALL TINGLY WITH EXCITEMENT

We'll know in 2h 35mins... If it wasn't for the Cheeseman statements I'd be sceptical that he was on his way but looks like he's gone. His face at full time would indicate the same...

ian cheeseman as said on gmr that mancini was at the match.
the rumour is very strong that mancini will be in charge for the rest of the season.
and the way hughes just waved at the crowd i would not be surprised.

lol sorry about lack of infortmation i was watching the match
i dont se why they would make an official announcement to say "nothing has changed" if that was the case it would just be hughes saying it in the post match press confrence
i like hughes and i wanted to give him time but it seems to me he cannot get the best out of the talent we have, even if he stays i think the bigger players lack respect for him and therefor turn up when they feel like not every game

Uproar, could not see this one coming, surely we need to give him a chance of getting us promoted.
I really wanted him to do well, but the fat lady has been clearing her throat for some time, but maybe Mancinni is coming in as a defensive coach, but then maybe not.

Didn't Kaka do this last year just before we thought we had him?

Now my sarcasm detector doesn't work on the internet but I'm going to risk looking an idiot and say I would too. Devastated probably a bit far for me but certainly I'd like to have seen him given the full season to fulfill the boards objectives. If he is going that is!

If Hughes is to go then the timing makes sense, at least it gives ?????? time to understand the teams requirements and assess how to plug those gaps before we hit the Jan window.
I know players are supposed to be professional but I wonder what the latest signings will make of the decision, I'm sure they were sold on the solid foundations being built etc.......Interesting
Don't know enough about Mancini to be really over the moon about it, all I know is that the titles he won were under the cloud of match fixing amongst a number of top teams.

Me too Svensational. It doesn't seem right to fire him on the day of a 4-3 home win, when we're sitting 6th going into xmas, 4 points off 4th with a game in hand. Wasn't our pre-season target top 6?
Is this how its going to be from now on? What happened to stability and giving the manager time? Oh joy :(

news now is reporting various papers (times / guardian / mirror) as stating hughes is out and mancini is in
It's not about having what you want, it's about wanting what you have.
