** Official Match Thread - Sunderland Home **

I reckon it will be tougher than a lot of people think today. Sunderland have already beaten Arsenal and Liverpool this season and in Bent they have a goal scorer at the top of his form.

Huge improvement needed if we are to get anything from this one.

Anyone heard of the proposed line up? Just read that Ade and Robbie are to be benched.

But their away form is abysmal, so I predict a 2-1 win for them ;-)

And Robinho.

Happy with the team. It's the one I would have picked, apart from Sylvinho who I would have replaced with Zabba.

At least he has shown that he has a set re Ade and Robbie.

Right basic team. My only extra change would have been Kompany for Toure. Risky for sure but sure would send a message to Toure as he has to the other 2. I wanted him to be braver with his team selections and he has been. Maybe the first sub will be Weiss on:)

i wanted Petrov and Weiss tbh or Petrov and SWP to be more specific since i thought SWP was injuried.

i like dropping Ade as well...Rocky looked like he had something to prove. This is a lineup of tryers Hughes has a lot of faith in. Simple.

I expect Bellamy and RSC to score today.

i think we'll win easy too...then sack Hughes and really set the papers ablaze with Typical City lines, etc.

4-1 City Weiss first PL goal as well

I saw something in RSC in the last game. Let's hope he can get a couple today.
