I am absolutely loving this guy.

He started the season a little sluggish but that was due to no pre season and needing match fitness. Now he's got that the last few games have shown how brilliant he is. I was delighted when he signed and seeing him play in the blue shirt makes me delighted.

I think he's a very rare specimen in the fact not only is he a talented and skillful player but he also works his absolute bollocks off. Usually the players who work their bollocks off have to make up for a lack of skill.

in my opinion he has been our best player the last few games and never ever gives up. He'll track back, he's very direct and never stops working.

He will become a future legend in my opinion.

All hail king Carlos.

Hopefully his work ethic rubs off on Ade and others, can handle losing when we give our all but pisses me off when players are half-hearted.

On topic Carlos has been quality and if he can keep adding goals to his all round play he could become a truly world class player even though when he signed i thought he was a good player but doesn't score enough.

You're right there mate, and you've got to love his loyalty:
"When I first joined the club I had a long chat with Mark Hughes and he gave me a vision of how the club was going to go forward.

"The reason I joined was because I believe in his vision. I believe in what he had to say," Tevez told the Daily Telegraph.

"I believe in the club. I also believe in Mark. We will be a big club. I'm 100 per cent behind the manager. I'm really surprised that a question about his future even exists at such an early stage.

"Every team in the Premier League will say they can do better and we are no exception. But the team is in transition with a lot of new players coming in and we have had a lot of injuries."

Cracking player, just wish had 11 with his attitude. Maybe we'll see it today???

Well mate you know how I feel about him. I watched him closely for years. I was delighted he came to the prem and although it took him a while to settle he became their most important player.

It was a shame at the time that he went to the rags on loan, but he was very very important in his first season and in his second, Fergie had to bench him given the 30 odd million Berbaflop cost... even still, he scored some absolutely VITAL goals for the cunts.

Everywhere he's been he's become the club's most (or one of the most) important players. I firmly believe he is now becoming our most important player, along with Shay Given.

I got shot down a while ago for saying this, but what's new?!

Good thread for a player that thouroughly deserves one.

Agree 100% He's not as lethal in front of goal as some players but he creates and pressures defenders into making mistakes. And normally the goals he does score are cruical (not the 4th in a 4-0 win, which shows he can handle pressure games,

Yep, spot on. You get the impression that even if he was just playing Sunday league he'd still give it his all, just the type of person he is. Dickov with immense skill.

Have just re watched the Bolton game and was horrified to see Adebayour's indifference to Tevez's second goal! I honestly don't think this man is motivated at the moment.
Incidentally Robinho was one of the first to run over and congratulate Tevez after the goal and unlike Adebayour he seemed genuinely delighted.

Yeah he's been great.

I honestly believe we're not performing so well this season because some players are just not putting the effort in (whether that's a management problem or not is a separate issue). It's why players like Tevez and Bellamy stand out at the minute.

When the other's can be arsed, like Ade v Arsenal, we seem to be able to beat anyone.
