Since Leslie doesnt have the abilty, and this isnt a thread to slag off Hughes or a debate when the inevitable will happen, when it does, who would you like?

I want Hiddink.

Mourinho.

Hiddink a close second.

We should be sounding out Jose now and if we don't get positive vibes then Hiddink should be appointed asap.

MOURHINO WITHOUT A DOUBT.

Mourinho,i'll take his efficient hard working winning football any day of the week.

If he says no,Hiddink. Although we'd have to do some deal with Roman.

After those i cant think of many more.

Mourinho
Hiddink
Mancini
O'Neil
Rijkaard
Van Gaal

Maybe not all available but every single one of them better than Hughes. I'm sure one of them would be tempted.

well I wouldn't mind hiddink but I mean he does only really manage a team for 2 years then leaves.. I want a long-term manager like rikjaard or mourinho

I reckon four of that list are available,Mozza,Hiddink,Mancini and Rijkaard.

Thing is i dont think the last two would be good for us despite you saying they are better than Hughes.

Well two years is a long time in football, especially for Club with resources like ours. Hiddink would get us in good shape in those (guestimated) two years and pass the club on in much better shape I believe.

I'd bet my bottom dollar that Jose's "people" have been sounding the owners out over the last couple of months

Clear that he doesn't like it in Milan

I'd have him for comedy value alone....agree re Van Gaal and Rijkaard...both wouldn't be on my list

I'd scratch off Mancini aswell.

Mourinho
Hiddink
O'Neill.

They are the only ones i'd go for,but really the list is two as O'Neill is the rag manager in waiting.

yeah i wouldn't want van Gaal he has strongest squad in Germany with Bayern yet is struggling in the league.. But ideally we get mourinho and he sorts out our defence, sure we won't score more than 1 goal a game but we sure as hell won't concede

Well if Mozza does come in and we play that kind of footy thats cool buy me,i'd happily win 1-0 2-0 every week and get some real success.
Then if in three years he swans off great,at least well have done well.
We need to get on the old silver trophy road.

That's why it would be all the more sweeter if we could snap him. O'Neill, I feel, is kind of manager who has it all we need. He has experience of winning things, has worked in a big club and is tactically very astute. He always gets the best out of players he has got as well, so imagine what he'd do with our players.

But i do agree with you. 100%

Reckon that has already gone on, Noticed how much more press coverage their has been for JM recently?

"Not happy with this not happy with that" "I want to come back to England"

If he comes we will get the usual "This is a massive club with huge ambition" "I need a new challenge and always wanted to come back"

He effectivley has a blank cheque book!!

Question really is whether the Sheik wants The welsh Muppet to spend his money in Jan or if we are going to get a "Special one" Christmas present!!
