Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

It would be interesting to see them all in one thread: copied and pasted one after the other
It sure would make interesting reading
"Your mission, Jim, should you choose to accept it......"

His teams are always better in second half of the season. First half don't mean shit anyway.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

first half doesnt mean shit when your highest possable finish is maybe a europa league place the fact is our team is as good as any other and better then most, people talk about liverpool being weak so maybe we should be looking to break into the top four but with our squad we should be looking to challenge for the title not be hoping to be the fourth best team in the league, if he'd had the brains/talent/balls to make the right decisions we would have won most of the draw and be in there with chelsea and the scum the fact is if we hadnt lost leads to fulham.liverpool.burnley and hull we'de be 3rd with a game in hand but we threw away the points because hughes lets it happen and the players no they can get away with it, you think a single player from last night would fucking dare play like that for murinho??? WOULD THEY FUCK BECAUSE HE WOULD END THERE FUCKING CAREERS but hughes wont do fuck all

This is the most valid one, so many new players will take time to gel. The manager can make that faster or slower but there will be a minimum period for it to work well consistently. How long will that be, I am not sure- I can't remember another case where so many players were changed in 12 months in a team that was expected to do well, so there is nothing to compare to.
On top of that turing "typical city" attitude into winners also will not happen overnight.
Light travels faster than sound.
Thats why some people appear bright until they open their mouth.
DISCLAIMER- My views are mine alone, and probably rubbish anyway.

"We’ve just come through a period in which we’ve beaten Arsenal and Chelsea, and also shown great spirit and courage in difficult circumstances against Bolton to come back three times.
"Whether that had a negative impact on what we were able to produce at Tottenham, who knows? We’ve picked the bones out, but sometimes you have to hold your hands up and say: 'We weren’t good enough on the night.'
"The games where that’s been the case have been few and far between this season. We’ve been pleased with what we’ve produced in the vast majority of the games.
"We were missing a number of key personnel but we don’t want to sound as if we’re making excuses. We’ll get more people back at the weekend, and see if we can improve on what we produced."
Hughes, who lost Joleon Lescott before the Spurs game, added: "We had a setback with Joleon we hadn't anticipated. We’re going to have to look at what we’ve got at the back in terms of cover.
"But you’re going to get injuries and you’re going to get suspensions at certain times in the season. It’s how you deal with them. You don’t use them as an excuse for losing."
No excuses there .

The squad needs more time to come together as a unit!
Even after one and a half years, there are still too many players on the roster from before I became manager who won't perform for me!
This is a DIFFERENT SORT OF A SEASON where upsets and suprising decisions are happening more frequently than ever!
Our squad are young and inexperienced! (sorry, that was the Arsene Wenger excuse thread...)
