Can't see how it could be anyone other than Dunne personally. He's the only only that comes close to playing for a decade for us.

I've never been his biggest fan, but it has to be the Dunnie Monster.

Surprised Distin wasn't there - but Onuoha is? - wouldn't have voted for him anyway but he was captain for 3 or 4 years.

SWP for me.. Always puts in 100% and loves the club to bits!! Prob took the wrong advice when he left and we did need that money at the time. He was all smiles when he came back and it was before we were taken over if Im not mistaken??? So he didnt return for the potential glory but returned to us through love..

I voted Dunne but gave serious consideration to Anelka. He's the only player to top our scoring charts in consecutive years in the prem. He had some good seasons for us. Probably the best player on the list.

Anelka for me.

In terms of delivering at the highest level, it would have to be Anelka. But despite last season's indifferent form I can't look beyond Dunnie. If he'd left at the end of 07/08 there wouldn't be a bad word said about him and it's a real shame that it ended sourly. He was one of the most committed, honest players I've seen turn out in a blue shirt and he gave us many years of great service. He's looked outstanding at Villa and despite them being in competition with us for 4th spot, I'm delighted that it's going well for him personally. A great guy and on his day a fantastic defender.

I actually went for SWP in the end. Absolutely amazing the first time around; didnt want to leave and has shown glimpses that he is still amazing this season.

I too have too many memories of Dunnies gaffs. Would love us to have kept him though.

Ali Benarbia. As short as his time at City was, and granted that City got him 3 years too late so he wasn't quick enough for the top level, no one since Colin Bell has had such class. I remember him beating Birmingham on his own in his first match, and in a Boxing Day match v Aston Villa he came on as sub with 20 minutes to go at 1-1, then made one for Foe and scored one by himself. Genius, and none of the others on this list come close to that description.
