Manchester City striker Benjani insists he has no intention of leaving the club in January.
The Zimbabwe international has seen his opportunities at Eastlands severely restricted of late, with Mark Hughes splashing out on an array of impressive attacking talent over the summer.
That has left Benjani well down the pecking order, but the African ace claims he is willing to stay and fight for a starting berth.
Reports had suggested that he was a New Year target for Bolton boss Gary Megson, while former employers Portsmouth have expressed a desire to take him back to the South Coast in the past.
Benjani, though, is set to snub the mounting interest after declaring his unwavering commitment to City's cause.
He told Zimbabwean weekly The Standard: "I am not going anywhere and I am going to put up a fight to ensure that I get my place.
"I still have a contract with Manchester City.
"I have had injuries. And every player goes through this phase. It will soon be over.
"I am not bothered about which club is after me because I am still a Manchester City player."
