Hospitality Visit to COMS

Got a hospitality visit to COMS for the Hull match as a recent birthday present and thought I'd share my experience of the day. My missus bought it for me and I took my son Vinnie for his first visit she drove us up and went off shopping...
Had car park ticket so came in off Alan Turing way and parked up about 2 mins walk from club store entrance.
Store staff got her a taxi into town, and me and Vinnie enter the club store, credit card twitching…
Look round in ecstasy, everything is City, I mean who else would it be? But to see it all laid out from key rings to pens to footballs to shirts to jackets to books to posters (Including a huge display Santa – dressed in blue!) is overwhelming.
Got shirts and scarves and footballs and t shirts and posters – kept going back to the retro 70’s shirts but couldn’t afford it this time round… next time.
Make our way round to Colin Bell entrance and through and up to legends lounge.
Get the first view of the pitch…
Awesome! – Absolutely bloody awesome.. Vinnie is dead excited and can’t believe he’s finally here.
Met an old boy who made us very welcome and told us best place to take photos to get best background etc he also told my son to save him some of the chocolate fountain… Vinnie didn’t know if he was serious or not!
Enter legends lounge and have some seriously good food, choice of roast, pies, fish, salad, soup and of course the chocolate fountain… Vinnie still not sure if the old boy was serious!
Nice couple shared out table, they normally have a season ticket but went for the lounge package as an anniversary treat and let a friend use their ticket.
Then first highlight of my day…meet Tony Book, Mike Summerbee, and Peter Barnes! – They came to my table as it was my birthday so I was on a list of tables they had to visit. – They are all top blokes – I was totally in awe!
Our seats were just outside the legends lounge (which is on level 2 South West corner) behind the goal that SWP scored in against Hull.
Me and Vinnie were amazed at how quickly the ground filled up and the noise from the south stand. First highlight of Vinnies day (and my second) Robinho is playing!
Just watching him was worth the journey alone..
Second highlight of Vinnies day… SWP SCORES! He is well chuffed, SWP is his favourite player.
Back into lounge at half time for a drink then out for second half. Gutted when they score but still think we can win…not to be, still, least we didn’t lose at Vinnies first match. End of the match and back into lounge for more drinks and let the traffic die down
Back to the car – pick her up from Victoria Station and make our way home.
Wish Vinnie would have seen us win but now I can afford it we will get to a lot more games
All in all a top top day – the staff were superb and meeting Tony Mike and Peter…well… for the first time in ages I was tongue tied…!
Looking forward to getting in the crowd next time and also stopping at the townley for a beer first!
Cheers
