Even i've lost patience...

After sitting on the fence for so long...even sometimes leaning towards being pro stability and pro Hughes after yesterdays woeful performance i'm starting to think that it's time for a change
I'm still not anti Hughes...I bear the man no ill will at all...just think he is running out of ideas and we possibly need someone at the helm who has experience in running the top teams in the world and not the likes of Blackburn
Like I said...I don't want this to turn into and anti/pro Hughes rant...
It would be nice to just have an honest debate between people like myself who have no other motive apart from what is best for Manchester City Football Club
Discuss

It's already being discussed on two other threads.
The fact that you have backed him to the hilt and are now changing tune, doesn't warrant a thread of your own.

I back City...not the individual

That may the case, but you have spent the last few months shouting down anyone with the audacity to question Hughes and now that your own views are changing it's all.....'look at me, I've changed my mind, now let's debate this on my terms'.

Yesterday really pulled the fight out of me, I just don't know what's left to be said on the subject. I have wanted him gone...well always, but started to believe he had something right after the derby. I liked the determination we showed and even coming out with nothing we still gave them one hell of a game, the Arsenal result was well taken and showed shrewdness in our ability to hit on the counter when they pressed. Then we had the last two months, the Villa, Liverpool and even the Fulham one would have been accepted had we beaten the teams we should have. Birmingham, Wigan, Burnley and Hull are unforgivable and although I was willing to give him time, we are showing minuscule improvement in some games and no consistancy to the next(which is kinda funny when you consider the results)

Spot on! Smacks of pure aggrogance to start a new thread for the sole reason you've decided to do a U-turn.

Pair of clowns...I've done nothing of the sort...what I have objected to in the past is a small minority of circus acts on here determined to destabalise the support of this club by constantly berating the manager purely on the fact that he is an ex rag...don't for one minute suggest that this was for footballing reasons...we had a fantastic start to the season...but the anti Hughes camp still found reasons to berate the manager
I have previously defended MH in the face of quite frankly unwarranted abuse of both him and the club as a whole...I am now making a statement based purely on facts
Something that has not been done in the past without agenda

In general the players are playing for themselves and not the manager - which goes some way to explaining why they are up for the big matches but not the others. I can't see another explanation.

Just because we don't happen to share your opinions pal doesn't make us, as you so kindly put it, circus acts. You just don't get it do you, the minute you resort to pathetic name-calling is the exact moment your entire argument falls down. I've kept quiet for ages reading you constanting harping back at people with totally unnecessary verbal abuse just because they don't toe the party line as you see it.
I've been against Hughes from the very start for purely football reasons. We replaced a manager who'd won virtually everything in the game to a guy who'd achieved absolutely nothing. His performance in 1 and a half seasons as manager has not changed my opinion ie. he's tactically naive and plays the wrong formation too often, he's managed to somehow genuinely weaken our defence, his tactics seem to be overly negative aand cautious when surely our attack is our great strength. All of this is widely debated and at the end of the day results are what matters - he's not getting them so he HAS to go. I'd of been very happy to admit I was wrong if it'd been any different but you can't polish a turd.

I agree entirely. It does look a bit silly to start a new thread just to draw attention to your opinion. Could have been dealt with in other threads. In fact we have a "hughes debate" thread where this could have gone. And to use the phrase "even I've"..... wow.... shock horror.... stop the press.... Sorry to sound rude, but it does look a bit egotistic....
