I can't believe that we sent all 3 on loan to make room for RSC. What a waste of money. Any one of them would have done much better coming on yesterday in the last 20 mins. I'm not even mentioning Sturridge here.
I think RSC has had enough time to prove himself and cannot use the excuse of incomplete match fitness anymore. All he has proven is that he is crap and there's only one person we can blame for that !! See how Robbie came back after a 3 months layoff.
So now if Ade is off the boil (as he was yesterday), the only option we have to replace him is RSC ?? Think African Cup, and this option becomes scary. Ade frustrated the hell out of me yesterday by his lazy display. A couple of time with the ball coming to him in the box, he chose to wait for it, instead of going for it, only for the ball to be cleared easily by the Hull defence. Unbelievable !!
I don't know what the loan deals entail, but I would definitely bring back Boj and Big Phil in the Jan window.

The directness and physical presence of Big Phil as an impact player would be a useful option but I dont think the loan deal allows it

RSC had one misplaced pass yesterday. Yes that was really frustrating but the rest of the time the service to him was fucking abysmal.
How you can say "he has had time to prove himself" is beyond me.

Silly thread IMO
Boj would be injured
Jo would be shit
Phil would try hard
The problem isnt the players we have it's the formation/tactics we are applying

i agree, yes hes been shit and its not looking good but to say he has had time is ridiculus, as someones mentioned, doesnt help we dont play to his strngths, a lone frontman he aint thats for sure.

Wow this has turned into ANOTHER RSC thread?? and about 5 posts in too? Amazing.. Also I gotta say I am getting sick to the teeth of the excuses I am reading on here it was he wasn't fit enough. Then when he was it's now we are not playing to his strengths... Fucking Hell guys just admit he wasn't a good buy and move on. Back on topic Big Phil from last season scored a couple of last minute winners for us and that's what we are missing this season somebody to get that last minute capture and turn 1 point into 3. That's what the rags do every fucking weekend at least that's what they did the entire last season anyways.

WTF?
Did you even read the first post? He mentions Santa Cruz in the first sentence! Do us all a favour and start reading the topics before you start spouting your mouth off about Cacicedo being a saviour and Santa Cruz being a "bad buy".
I'll bet you were one of the ones criticising Cacicedo after just 5 games too!

No he didn't. If you're gonna rant and rave and ridicule people's opinions, at least have the courtesy to know what the fuck you're talking about.
Caicedo 08/09 Goals:
Racing Santander (a) - Lost 3-1
WBA (a) - Lost 2-1
Hull (h) (2) - Won 5-1
Blackburn (h) - Won 3-1
Aalborg (h) - Won 2-0
Hamburg (h) - Won 2-1 but knocked out
Bolton (h) - Won 1-0
I quite liked Caicedo but I find it hilarious that you put other people down, for example, for their "lies" and "spin" in defence of Hughes. So you tell us: Where are Caicedo's "couple of last-minute winners"? Or was that just spin?

So I guess you guys are happy that when Ade goes away for African Cup duty, the only front man we'll have is RSC ???
Vhero was spot on, we do need somene like Big Phil who at least tries and his presence alone frightens defenders. Boj is also useful and we never got the chance to see him play an extended period after he was fully fit.
And yes this was an RSC thread but I'm not blaming him. The guy is 29 years old. He didn't play almost all of last season and then he had an operation in the summer. Hard to come back after all that at his age. So you work out whom I'm blaming for wasting money and a squad spot on him !

Boj at least showed potential and he's a young man and his best is still to be seen. He scored a couple of nice goals when he had the chance. I don't see anything from RSC that makes me believe that he will start banging them in soon. I'll be happy to be proven wrong as we are stuck with him for a while at least.

Big Phil scored 8 in 9 games and he was mostly a sub, hardly started any matches!! and still some on this forum think he is rubbish. Make sense of that !

Shittt forgot about big phil! I'd bring him back in an instant. He was class at home for us after he had a run and got going. RSC offers fuck all at the minute and he wont do unless he gets games. We dont have time to experiment and start him and not even come close to scoring, because we can barely score as it is. Stick him in the reserves!!!! Pisses me off when managers wont play first teamers that need games in the resevers. Is he too big for the resersves?! Is he fuck. Johno and ned play there. Just because hes a foreign international?!

Jo currently showing how he is up there with the very best in the world, at being caught off side.

His first goal was well taken. A striker's goal. A bit unlucky that he was fractionally offside. We need Everton to beat Liverpool or at least draw so that they don't gain any ground on us. Go Jo.

Exactly mate but they won't fucking have it they like to spin what I say. What I meant was he probably would have scored a last minute goal for us this season he sure got a couple last season. Sure we didn't always win but at least he scored. You can't blame the fact we had a shite defence back then on him but hey they seem to be doing that as you notice they list the games we lost in where he played?? Like that's HIS fucking fault? Hes a fucking striker FFS and he was probably the best of the youngsters we bought but whatever. They won't listen they like to throw there shitty wins and losses stats. He is a 1 in 3 striker which isn't bad considering half the games last season he came off the fucking bench and was constantly sharing a spot with Evans and Sturridge and he was playing a lone striker spot at the age of 20 last season!. 27 Apps and 8 goals at 20 as a lone striker and you bang on he's shit? You people are fucking deluded. Thankyou Dubaimancityfan for actually taking time to realize this.
As for my comment about turning this into a RSC thread sure he was mentioned in the first post but this thread was clearly not just about him until about the 5th post in where it went from talking about who we should recall to slagging off RSC. So how about you actually UNDERSTAND what I write eh?

You mean someone who the ball bounces off because he has no ball control.
Dubaimancityfan wrote:who at least tries
This is the myth of Coc Idea - he looks as though he is trying hard because he is always fighting for the ball. The reason he fights so hard for the ball is because he mis-controls it, the ball bounces away from him, and so he has to fight the defender to recover possession. I would prefer someone who can control the ball first time.
Dubaimancityfan wrote:and his presence alone frightens defenders.
No it doesn't. It never did. Another myth about "Big Phil"....
