Training Friday 27/11

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Training Friday 27/11

Postby Douglas Higginbottom » Fri Nov 27, 2009 11:37 am

Just a quickie as it was all going on behind the iron curtain today. A lone photographer was wandering round the far side still able to get long distance shots but that option will be gone soon as the final fencing will close the one pitch entirely.

Everyone seemed to be out there today including Tevez back from his tennis and Petrov with the full training group for the first time sice his injury. Nobody came over so nothing is sorted yet but I live in hope. Not a bad thing as the weather was disgusting.

Cheers DH but seriously do you not have a job or is it something City related?

Unfortunate they haven't managed to get you a pass yet.

But there are clear reasons for keeping foreign spies away. In this case no-one knows whether Robinho will start or not, or whether we will play 451(433) or 442. This is good, and the hapless Phil Brown, who has enough problems planning for games anyway, wont know where to start.

If only we can take advantage of that!

Mate he's retired...

But not only should he be getting a pass, he should be getting a few bob for his efforts IMO!

Totally sucks they have nearly finished putting the fencing up! Your training reports are one of the highlights of this site. I live in hope just like you mate that the club sees sense and sorts something out for ya.

Come on city, get doug a pass!

thanks for making the effort Doug, much appreciated. I will keep my fingers crossed for a couple of weeks before we march on the club reception.

What confuses me is that they are moving slowly to get the fencing up and it still doesn't like it will be there for all pitches. In which case I will be able to see at least 1 if not 2 sessions per week as they won't use the same pitch all the time. That does mean the photographers get plenty of opportunities to get the pictures they want. I don't think they are after anything that could be deemed of tactical value but more the sort which might create a story ( like a fight!) Maybe the fencing will be more widespread but if that is the plan they are moving in slow motion.

Let's just get him a pass. It's not hard City.

I have been told more than once that the training reports are no the issue at all .They know I don't and wouldn't post anything contraversial but I wouldnt go for the idea that they could/should be able to censure what I say either.
