Interesting bit of history here, if you've not seen it before, about Hyde road and the railway.

I read that too. During the years I have become more and more interested in City's history. A train in the ground on match days must have made a difference to the atmosphere.

There is a famous picture of Hyde Rd, complete with a locomotive between the pitch and the fans.
I've seen it a few times but would love a copy if someone knows where to dig it out.

Brilliant!
I've always wanted a stadium like that ever since I saw "Brewster's Millions".

Get on board y´all , this P.L. train is pulling out of the station , one way to the title!
Cracking good yarn - who says we´ve got no history? - pricks!

I loved the bit about selling a stand to Halifax - it makes me want to go and see it now.
