C'mon on Wigan, if Spurs lose it will turn out to be quite a good weekend

Wigan are a real dark horse - they could turn almost anyone over on their day but they crumble so easily sometimes. I hope they put Redknapp's nose out of joint today though.

A couple of Defoe's goals were absolutely incredible, the ones he hit first time.

So, looks like Spurs wobble is over, the experts who were claiming we were a dead certain for top 4 on here a couple of weeks ago will need to be at their most persausive to explain Spurs not being contenders now. They are a more potent attacking force when on song than we currently are and so will kill more of the lower teams off. I still say a top 6 finish for us this season would be very welcome given the number of new faces.

Sorry Irby Mate but I don't think we can take anything for granted this season. Spurs might have battered Wigan this week but they are just as likely to wobble again next week at Villa.
