ROBINHO’S ESCAPE IN JEOPARDY Robinho's chances of escaping Manchester City for Barcelona have diminished after the European champions opened discussions with David Silva over a transfer from Valencia to the Camp Nou. The Brazil international has been keen to exchange Premier League football for La Liga since Barcelona moved for him earlier this year. Though City's Arab owners rejected a bid for their record signing in August, Barça have begun exploring other options to replace Thierry Henry on the left side of their attack.
