Training Friday 20/11

Well I think they were training today but sadly wasn't allowed to watch!
When I arrived there were photographers around and some with steps to get the best vantage .One had wandered around the whole complex to suss the best views and clearly there were plenbty of places to get pictures if they wanted to. To start with though he was looking for them just coming out of the changing rooms. Barry was his prime target to fit a story about him playing against LPool.
When the players had all started to gather not 1 but 2 of the security guys wandered over and shifted the guys on with whatever reasoning they could and then inevitably moved on to me. I suppose it was not realistic for me to be allowed to stay and they have to move on. In the brief moments I was looking over Mark Bowen threw his hands apart and shrugged and behind him Eddie was laughing a shouting that I should p... off. 100% in fun of course.
The reserves were also out training and ran past me and had a laugh that I had brought steps but then I was on the ground chatting to the 2 security guys who were almost pleading for me to be a good lad and no watch. I asked who had decreed that I should not be allowed to watch and they didn't know and I said I would happily disappear if the management said they didn't want me to go any more. Eventually they both left in different directions to speak one with Eddie and one with Mark B.
On their return they both had the same message that they were happy for me to be there and watch as they know what I am all about etc etc and they would have a word to see what could be done. So we will see. There were also a couple of people from the council walking around inside the fence and I think they would have been something to do with the free walkway access areas which are just outside the fencing but that's just me guessing.
With all this going on I didn't even check to see who was or was not there today. I expect they were all out and from the noise behind whilst I watched the reserves for a while they were in great spirits although I am not sure how Shay would have reacted when shouts of Thierry went up when somebody obviously had handled the ball.
