Players Giving Interviews

Too many players giving negative interviews at the moment, over the last couple of weeks we have had SI making insinuations about recently departed team mates including Elano, who has been labelled rightly or wrongly as a trouble causer, one could also be forgiven for thinking our former club captain Richard Dunne was being indirectly bad mouthed from that SI interview

Today we have an interview in the press given by RSC now fuelling the flames of Robinhogate,no need to go over what he has said, but to me it looks like another subtle classic stitch up from a team mate.

The way some players are dripping the media with these propaganda stories is leaving a bad taste in the mouth.

I also don’t believe these stories are as innocent as they appear, I believe certain players have been recruited in a campaign to influence fans opinions.

One only needs visit the fans forums to see how some have now turned on Robby after the RSC interview.

All very sinister if you ask me, just some are too dumb to see it.

They should all be shot, and that Hughes bloke beheaded for thinking he could have any chance of taking us anywhere but down!

I've said my peace!

We are not allowed to talk about Hughes in this thread stay on topic.

Do you think these stories to the press are all just coincidence or done to influence opinion ?

RSCs story has done Robby no favours has it ?

You are of course right and I apologise profusely, I'll keep my opinions on Hughes to myself. However, I do not see anything wrong with Stevie or RSC's comments. The truth is, you seem to be making it out that the manager has either purchased them or persuaded them to have a dig at Robbie which has to be one of the most ludicrous accusations I have seen. So, when you say don't bring Hughes into this, please do not insult our intelligience with your petty hatreds; we're better than that!

No not really just my own opinion.

Just didn’t like watching players like SI rubbishing his team mates past and present, I felt at the time he had been put in front of the Press to steady the ship and deflect attention, same as last season.

As with the RSC interview only a complete idiot could see there would be no ramifications with what he has said about Robby, at the very least if what Robby has supposedly said to his team mates is true, and we only have RSCs word for it, I am 100% certain that he expected it to stay in the dressing room.

I reckon what was said was sanctioned, a deliberate stitch up to influence opinion

Like I said I don’t do coincidences especially when we now have such a Media sensitive manager at the helm.

Either way I don’t think there is any going back with Robby when your team mates shit on you like that

Not going to get in to the ins and outs off his signing.

But I will say this, I think you will be very hard pressed to find a more devoted and loyal subject than RSC at City right now.

Personally I think there are signs that most of these interviews are generated or at least vetted by our media dept. Saying what the club cant say.

Hughes and Cookie can't say "Elano was a complete cock and ruins team spirit wherever he goes" But Stevie can!

So why the sinister angle?

Just my opinion mate.

I don’t do coincidences, there have been far to many over the last 16 months, with players slating team mates to the media, then the said players being shipped out, one could be forgiven for thinking our dressing room was full of hormonal women the way a few appear to bitch about each other, but all that’s said seems to tie in nicely with what Hughes has said in the Daily Mail, make of that what you will.

The RSC interview for me was done to stitch Robby up, because RSC and others know he is idolised by so many fans, what RSC has said was like a knife in the back, one only needs read some of the forums to see some fans slaughtering him now on the back of the supposedly innocent RSC interview.

If we had been Milan, then Robby might have needed police protection after that RSC interview ,RSC was an absolute shit house shitting on his team mate the way he did to portray him as villain to the fans POURING PETROL ON THE FLAMES..

Also ironically what RSC has said about Robby openly discussing a move to Barcelona contradicts Hughes stance that Robby is perfectly happy don’t you think ?

We have had plenty from Hughes in the Daily Mail ?.....,RSC in the Daily Mail ?….,Cook in the Daily Mail ?........ Plenty of made up anti-Robby shit in the Daily Mail ?.

When was the last time we heard from the dignified Robby in City’s favourite newspaper ?

We all know the truth Hughes and Cook want rid, I heard a rumour that Cook recently bottled out of a meeting with Barcelona executives in Dubai when news got out about the meeting.

They are making Robby look like the villain in a stitch up campaign, that’s my belief; they want the fans on their side, like I said I think it is all very sinister.

I believe we have now reached a point of no return, the first thing I would do when I go back in the dressing room would spark the waist of space RSC the fcuk out.

CTID11 - But did it actually occur to you that Robbie may be the 'villain', who constantly undermines things and, as RSC says, wont shut the fuck up about Barcelona? Even Barca are 50/50 about signing a player who has been 'unstable' wherever he goes (their words).

So if Cook, Hughes, RSC and every fucker else want him out it's because it's for the good of the club, to make the team better.

So that's good enough for me IF that is the case.

I'm not quite sure what point you're making because are you a fan of City, or of Robinho, protecting him from those nasty City conspirators?

If the club want to keep him and he does good for us I'll be as happy as Larry. If he wants & needs to be shipped out, then he can fuck off. It's the club that matters.

How ironic you quickly condemn Robby on a story circulated from the Hughes camp.

If RSC has made these comments to the press . It is pretty stupid of him and quite frankly he should shut up and earn his money.

Fuck RSC I never wanted that twat at our club in the first place and after that interview I definitely don't want him at our club for shit stirring. He has done nothing on the pitch to deserve sprouting his mouth off it.
