Here in lies the problem, some feel that because we have drawn the last 4 matches then that means there are no problems, they feel the 4 draws means everything is rosy in the garden which is absolute bollocks ,the only reason we are 4th is because our poor form has been matched by that of teams around us,but it doesn’t change the fact we are playing like a bag of shit and actually look like we are in decline.
yes we are 4th for now, with one league win in the last 6, but we are playing very poor, our manager is showing his ineptness again, things are not rosy in the garden, A derby at home to Burnley is now a must win game, and who knows if they have been watching videos of our last few matches they might fancy them selves next week, it is only a matter of time before our lucky draws turn in to defeats when the quality of the opposition improves.
I for one won’t be surprised and I think Hughes could soon be History, if you can’t see things getting much worse as a possibility you are deluded, the warning signs are there for all to see
Well I am not sure that any CITY fans feel there are no problems - I think a lot like me are frustrated that we have missed a real chance recently - we could be top 2 - certainly clear 3rd - so I am disappointed
But having just got back from the match and reading all the negativity (mostly usual suspects) - the comment I would make to your suggestion that CITY fans not being negative are deluded - is that genuinely you guys need to lighten up - if for nothing else lighten up for your own sanity and quality of life!!
Whether you are a Hughes hated / Lover or fence sitter - one thing that is stunningly crystal clear for anyone who is not totally unable to be objective is:
That Hughes clearly enjoys the total and utter support of the owners and there is not a cat in hells chance of him going anywhere / being sacked etc. So you might as well calm down and get behind the team - because it is all just a total waste of your energies.
FFS - the owners were right behind him through the difficult times - for what reason would any objective person think that 1st November lying 4th with a game in hand is going to be making them anything else other than very very happy.
Now things can not really go that bad between now and xams - so he will not be replaced before the January window - rather I would expect more support manifesting in 2 significant signings - RB and MF
But it is blindingly obvious - and anyone who thinks otherwise actually is deluded - he will not be going anywhere until the end of the season
So you might as well all just chill and get back to supporting CITY - FFS just think if we do qualify for CL - he will be here for years and years - so you do need to find a way of handling that or you will all have a thoroughly miserable time as CITY fans
