Birmingham vs Manchester City matchday thread

Just as an early prediction for the lineup does anyone reckon we will go 4-3-3? I do, It works better with city. We are more of an attacking side and by having a midfield line of 3 that is strong and creative we could create a fair few chances! I reckon Swp might start on the bench today, He hasnt looked the best as of late and maybe just needs to rest a game or 2 and get back to his best. He will come of the bench though if he doesnt start. It was great to see Ned back in training and looked good actually so i wouldent be suprised if he got on the bench. Zabableta willl start instead of Richards i think and Kolo should be ready to go from that slight knock he had. As should Ade be back fit which will do us a world of good! I reckon Hughes might give it a crack today with Bellamy, Tevez and Ade. Birminghams defense and midfield isnt the best so If bellamy gets down that right flank and cuts inside then we could be in for a treat. Ade needs to get himslef in the box as the target man and get onto the end of everything. And tevez just needs to do what he usually does!!! Be superman number 2 and fly around chasing everything and supporting Ade and bellers in the box!!!

I have a good feeling about this!! COME ON CITY!!!!!!!! We have to capitilise!!

Given

Bridge
Lescott
Kolo
Zabaleta

Barry
De Jong
Ireland

Tevez
Adebayor
Bellamy

Subs-
Taylor
Roque
Richards
Swp
Sylvinho
Nedum
Johnson

I dont think we'll go 4-3-3 away from home, but I would love it if Bellamy started.

Took an hour holiday from work to finish at 3 today, was gutted last night....ended up sorting out my brother 3 tickets for the game today just knowing that I wouldnt be going!

COME ON CITY!

Changed it!! You happy now? lol

Lose by more than 3 goals=drop to 7th
Lose by less=stay in 6th
Win or draw=move up to 4th

Yeah, but we wouldn't have a game in hand over Arsenal...they have one in hand too and it would make them 2nd on goal difference.

Thought Ned was still injured Lewis. Put Weiss on that bench to bring on when tired legs kick in and i'll take that line up.

We so need to get rid of the past and win today, i will settle for nothing less.

He might still have a little knock rural but in training he looked alright defending. He wouldent have took part if he wasnt capable of training that day. I reckon he might make the bench! Who knows. And yeh, Your right. If Ned doesnt make the bench Weiss will be there. He is a good one to bring on. An impact player.

I agree....although Zabaleta still has a lot to do to convince me that he is (currently) markedly better than Micah.

Both have frailties to their game, I like both but they both need to raise their games

I'm really looking forward to this game. I think we're about to hit better form again, and that Brum are gonn suffer badly.

Am warming up now with the last match day of the season in the Swedish league. The league leaders, AIK from Stockholm, are playing the runners up, IFK Gothenburg. AIK only need one point to take the title.

I wish I knew some other City fans round here, instead I will make my way to the local boozer knowing if we lose I will get the piss ripped out of me and if we win nobody will say fuck all. Cannot even bribe my little lad to come with me today.
