Abu Dhabi and Qatar accommodation tips

Postby bluelingy » Wed Oct 28, 2009 1:51 pm

Hi I am off to Abu Dhabi and Qatar in November to watch the City and England games and have noticed a few people from that region on hear!!
Could do with advice regarding getting cheapish accommodation!!
Also wondering if anyone else (except the lucky competition winner) was making their way over independently from the club!!
Many thanks
Q. Which is your favourite goal? A. It has to be the second goal I scored during the last-ever Maine Road derby. I heard the fans singing a new song: "Who let the Goat out?" and I thought, "I'm having that one!" Eyal [Berkovic] placed a perfectly weighted pass into my stride. I held off two defenders and the ball bounced in front of me, allowing me to make a gentle half-volley over Barthez. It was my 100th goal for Man City and particularly satisfying to score against Man Utd.

I suggest you do an internet search for Hotels in Abu Dhabi and Doha (Qatar). You'll find a lot of useful info with
prices mentioned.

Myself, I'm staying 1 night in AD at the Beach Rotana Hotel. Its costing around 130 pounds for the night.
You should be able find cheaper prices online.
