That looks fucking terrific!!!
Look at that single-tier stand - I'd love it if we had one at Eastlands.
I also like "the promise that spectators will find themselves closer to the pitch than at any other comparable stadium in the UK."

got to admit, that is one impressive stadium. The single tier stand is the same as the liverpool one to replicate the current kop in their proposed stadium that will never happen.
The emirates is the best in the prem by far but that one may well top it. If they have padded seats of course.

Just reiterates the need to do something with COMS...the away end is in the wrong place and splits home fans and the atmosphere suffers for it...the Hamburg game aside...even in the derbies...the atmosphere has been nothing like Maine Road...even to the point where it has been embarrassingly stagnant

Does look impressive, but then a lot do on these 'artist impressions' don't they?
I like the fact that architects are thinking more now about the atmosphere inside of the stadium rather than aesthetics/ how many seats they can cram in. Feels like a victory for the fan in a small way. Bet that single tier stand will be a bastard to get out of [strike]after 85 minutes[/strike] at full-time.

Looks mint, I wouldn't fancy being at the top of that stand though, I fucking hate heights like that I'd get vertigo.

Bastards
Look at image 6
(linky)This is mostly a property deal. 434 homes, a supermarket, shops etc. A single tier stand would be a good way of saving a bit of space at that end and the public space for ice-rinks and markets would be space needed for crowd control anyway.
Looks fairly decent overall though.

Imagine a stadium with FOUR single tier stands! I'm drooling at the thought. (plus the club could fit a lot of real estate underneath)

Aye, maybe a hotel, a restaurant, shop and ticket office all under one roof would be great.
I hope Spurs pull it off, unless it is 100% 3rd party funded they will have to start spending as much as Arsenal for a few years?

He's saying it wont impact on transfer funds, so I'm guessing the developers are getting a fat wedge of the retail side of things.

I think every single person agrees that the away fans are in totally the wrong place. I can't see the club letting that situation continue after this season as I'm pretty sure they are on the same page now after so many fans/fans forums have made the point. I imagine they'd have changed it for this season if there'd been enough time (to re-jig pricing models/season ticketing arrangements etc).
I want them down the other end, in a corner. Have the entire south stand and "Curva Sud" as a massive atmospheric wall of noise back at them

Brilliant i love the spin that Spurs have put on this.
''We want to give the fans the ultimate experience, one tier, blah blah blah''
Levy you lying bag of toss the only reason the stand is cut out is because it was EXACTLY THE SAME DESIGN AS ARSENAL'S GROUND. When the thick as fook Spurs fans realised, Levy and the others fools thought shit lets send the plans back and some bright spark architect came up with it.
I cant stand it when people take the credit for something when its obvious Levy and the Spurs board wouldnt have thought of it in a month of Sundays.
Lovely PR Levy,Now pay for it.Cant see many of the apartments 30 seconds from a big stadium going quickly thats a hard sell to the missus that one lad.

Looks very impressive IMO. I am envious of the single tier design.
RE Arsenal's ground - is it only me who dislikes The Emirates? Padded seats? if I want a comfy seat, I will stay at home and watch it on the tele. I also dislike the fact that at the Emirates, the stands are split into to by a large band of corporate seating and facilities that goes around the ground.

I have seen that mockup before, and it wasn't Spurs that time.
Guess the architect is whoring the design around at the moment.

Oh and for the record if our owner finds the need to build us a new ground rest assured it will be the best in Europe by some distance. It wont be a half arsed Emirates copy with a stand cut out.
I imagine that if and when ADUG increase capacity at Eastlands, even that will be something special.Eastlands has got so much you could do with it,fuck the cost if the Sheikh wants it done then it will be done he has the contacts and the builders to do it.

Ant, you're a good poster, but in the post above you sound like a corporate tart :)
